Effective Altruism Christchurch Universities (EACU) together with the University of Canterbury Computer Society (CompSoc) are hosting an AI Safety Hackathon on Saturday August 15 from 10am-4pm NZST. This will be in-person at the University of Canterbury main campus in the Jack Erskine 133 computer lab.
The EA Summit is a one-day conference bringing together people from across Aotearoa New Zealand who are interested in doing the most good for others. Whether you’re completely new to effective altruism or already actively involved, the Summit is an opportunity to explore big global challenges, hear from people working on them, and connect with others who care about having a meaningful impact.
