Crafting Effective Theories of Change for Non-Profits

  • St David Complex Seminar Room A Saint David Street Dunedin, Otago, 9016 New Zealand (map)

This event we’re changing things up with a group discussion!

This discussion is based around theories of change: how to achieve the outcomes you desire. We’ll be discussing the EA Forum post “Nailing the basics – Theories of change” by Charity Entrepreneurship’s Aidan Alexander. We’d encourage you to have a browse of the article before the event so we can spend more time on deeper discussion, but no worries if not!

We will gain a better understanding of what a theory of change is, why it is important, how to develop one, and the common mistakes to avoid. We will also look into how a theory of change can impact funding decisions, and the role it plays in decision-making for foundations.

You can read the forum post here.
