Lead educational initiatives that turn AI safety interest into world-changing talent. You will directly shape how the field addresses talent bottlenecks in AI Safety. What you do to achieve this is up to you, but will likely include:
Identifying critical field talent gaps by:
building relationships with hiring managers at key organizations to understand their needs
working with funders to figure out what they want to fund, but can't find the talent for
thinking hard about field strategy, working with experts across the AI safety ecosystem
Designing high-quality educational experiences by:
translating field requirements into concrete learning objectives
applying science of learning and instructional design principles
finding, developing or commissioning the best resources in the field
Ensure these experiences run smoothly by:
ruthlessly prioritising what's most important for learner experience
being able to effectively execute or delegate operational tasks
hiring and managing new staff and contractors to help you
Continuously improve the above process in a data-driven way, ideally primarily based on graduate outcomes and impact on the world
We don't expect candidates to have experience with all the above. Strong candidates will likely have bring strengths in one or more areas, and enthusiasm for learning about the others on the job.

About You
You might be a great fit if you:
Adapt quickly to new environments, with a self-driven and curious mindset
Are capable of generating and executing on many ideas for meeting user needs
Have experience in program management, education design, field strategy, talent placement, product development, grantmaking, content creation, or operations
Have previously lead projects to completion: whether at work or as a personal side projects
Understand core AI safety concepts, and believe AI safety is one of the world's most pressing problems

Location:
Hybrid in London, UK (strongly preferred); or
Remote, anywhere in the world
Compensation: £60k-100k/year. You'll likely be hired as a permanent full-time employee.
