We’re looking for a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to support the smooth financial operation of our organization as we grow our global impact. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who wants to use their professional skills to support a meaningful mission.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular bookkeeping duties
Ongoing coding and reconciliation of all expenses and receipts across multiple platforms
Generate and share regular variance reports for budget vs actuals with the team
Process invoices, reimbursements, and contractor payments in a timely manner
Keep financial documentation organized and audit-ready
Work with our accountant to prepare annual accounts well before the filing deadline
Support the team with financial queries and contribute to improving internal finance processes
About You
You have at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience (non-profit or international org experience is a plus)
You're highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
You're proficient with bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and confident with spreadsheets
You communicate clearly and proactively, especially when it comes to deadlines and discrepancies
You're motivated by WTF’s mission and excited to support animal rights work from behind the scenes
