QRI employees/interns/volunteers all work in some capacity to further the mission statement. As long as you're aligned with that, the best way right now to apply would be to fill out this general application. Familiarity with the QRI memeplex is highly encouraged!

In the coming months as we work on scaling up our efforts, we'll be reaching out to people who have filled out the general application based on our needs. If we need highly talented people with specific skill sets, expect those to appear on the careers page.

We will periodically review submissions to the General Application. We created this application to connect with people who could be candidates when we are hiring. It does not reflect any currently open positions.

Mission

  • Develop a precise mathematical language for describing subjective experience

  • Understand the nature of emotional valence (happiness and suffering)

  • Map out the full space of possible conscious experiences

  • Build technologies to radically improve people's lives
