Colin will present on the application of real-world data in formulating vital national and international responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. His talk will delve into the tracking of the pandemic's evolving dynamics, the identification of groups at severe risk of hospitalization or death, and the analysis of vaccine adoption, safety, and efficacy.
Colin Simpson is a professor at Victoria University where is the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Health. His research focusses on the epidemiology of respiratory and infectious diseases, vaccine evaluation and the improvement of the health and well-being of populations.
This session will be held in RH207 at Pipitea Campus. Note this is different from out normal room. While we run events at the university our group is comprised of both students and professionals.
