As our Global Experience Leader, you will design and coordinate the end-to-end experience for thousands of participants worldwide, embedding effective giving into the heart of HYROX’s events. You will lead a global movement transforming one of the world's fastest-growing fitness sports into a powerful force for social impact. Your strategic guidance will empower athletes and everyday participants not only to achieve personal fitness goals but also to save lives, alleviate suffering, and protect our planet.
Operating at the intersection of sports, philanthropy, and global community building, you will create playbooks and scalable systems that inspire and activate tens of thousands of fundraisers each year using online and in-person engagement. You’ll experiment with innovative approaches to engaging race participants, refine our global approach to in-person and online activation, and distil insights into replicable playbooks that build vibrant local and international communities in every Hyrox territory. You’ll own:
Establish the frameworks and systems for delivering exceptional participant
experiences globally – end-to-end participant UX linking fundraising,
storytelling, community and engagement online and in-person.Design & oversee community engagement strategies that foster a purpose-
driven movement through deep connections, fitness, and fundraising success.Develop replicable, scalable processes for local implementation of Race for
Impact community engagement strategies, ensuring consistency across regions
while allowing local volunteers to bring their own vibes, creativity, and flavor.Accountable for capturing and sharing learnings across regions, building
institutional knowledge and playbooks that enable rapid scale.Lead cross-functional collaboration with HIA & HYROX Communications teams,
Partnerships teams, and Operations teams to synchronize efforts and deliver
value to Race for Impact participants.Track engagement metrics closely, update and improve strategies based on
data, and ensure all initiatives align with HIA’s North Star Metric (our primary
impact goal) and Growth Model.

You’re obsessed with creating awesome experiences and community building –
whether that is online, in-person, or both – and, you know how to make these
experiences scalable.You have (or could) lead a team across different countries and cultures; people
enjoy working with you even though you have high standards and you aren’t

cultural nuances in diverse global markets.
You’re happy with fast-paced, high complexity situations, are able to see signal
through the noise, and consistently make decisions. Most of the time, your
decisions are good ones, but if not, you learn from them.
You’re a team player, communicate clearly and authentically, and build trust with
everyone from elite athletes to local volunteers, making people feel heard and
valued.
You’re adept at AI prompting and using tools like ChatGPT or Claude to engage
as a thought partner, speed up your workflows, and deliver better outcomes.
Success Looks Like:
30 DAYS:
You’ve worked with the team to gain a full understanding of HIA’s fundraising
model, mapped out the current participant journey, identified gaps in how we
deliver their experience, and established early priorities for improvement, e.g.
creating participant feedback loops and a local activation toolkit.
90 DAYS:
You’ve successfully led the launch of strategic global experience initiatives
(e.g., streamlined onboarding journeys, established participant feedback loops,
created local activation toolkits), started actively optimising participant
engagement and implemented tracking for key performance indicators.
180 DAYS:
We’ve scaled impactful participant engagement initiatives across multiple
global markets, ensuring consistency, quality and local resonance. Our data-
informed approach has yielded measurable improvements in participant
satisfaction, engagement, retention, and overall fundraising performance.
Lessons are documented, shared, and integrated into refined playbooks, driving
continual improvement and scalability.
The Breakdown:
Growth Path
Clear progression path to Global Experience Director across HIA & Race for Impact based on proven impact and performance. This role reports directly to a Co-founder.
Work Setup
Fully remote global team with highly flexible working arrangements.
Preference for candidates able to work primarily within US or European time zones, but exceptional candidates elsewhere are encouraged to apply.
Regular digital collaboration with some flexibility required for early morning or
evening meetings to accommodate global team time zones.
Compensation & benefits
USA-based candidates: USD $70,000-$80,000 annually
Non-USA candidates: Compensation adjusted to competitive market rates
Annual performance bonus of up to 50% for high achievers
Private health insurance provided in countries without universal healthcare
