This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our small but ambitious membership-based charity. You’ll be instrumental in tracking and showcasing the impact of our work — helping to gather and communicate the data and stories that prove our progress, celebrate our wins, and inspire others to join our movement. From monitoring and evaluating our performance, to supporting grant reporting and internal learning, your work will help us grow our influence and credibility.
You’ll also play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly — managing expenses, travel and accommodation, and supporting our Finance and Admin lead on our day-to-day financial processes and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Reporting
Support the collection, organisation and analysis of data to track the WFA’s progress and performance.
Maintain and update monitoring frameworks, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Assist with preparing narrative and data-driven reports for funders, trustees, and members.
Coordinate internal impact updates and help surface success stories and lessons learned.
Contribute to the development and management of tools and systems that improve how we measure and communicate our impact.
Finance & Administration
Process invoices, receipts, and staff/volunteer expense claims.
Support the preparation and scheduling of payments for travel, accommodation and operational costs.
Help maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping using tools such as Xero or QuickBooks
Liaise with external accountants or finance consultants as needed.
Operational Support
Contribute to improving internal templates, processes and operational systems.
Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for team members attending events or meetings.
Support event logistics and keep internal administrative records updated.
Maintain well-organised digital filing systems and support record-keeping for compliance and audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
Good organisational skills, attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable using spreadsheets, simple finance tools, and cloud-based systems
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
Some experience with organisational and finance admin or charity bookkeeping and / or supporting monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting.
Confident working with data and KPIs to support reporting and performance tracking
Ability to coordinate travel and logistics for teams or events
A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working across teams and functions in a small, dynamic organisation
Proficient in standard office software (Google Workspace, Excel, Word, etc.)
Desirable
Experience working in a charity, membership organisation, or advocacy setting
Familiarity with funding and grant reporting requirements
Experience using monitoring frameworks or dashboards
Interest or knowledge in animal welfare, sustainability, or development sectors
Confidence in developing or improving internal processes and templates
Understanding of basic GDPR and financial compliance

Terms of Employment
Salary: The gross salary for this role is $24,000 – $28,00 USD per annum FTE (full time equivalent) dependent on experience. It is a full time role although other arrangements would be considered.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in their country of residence, as WFA is unable to sponsor visas.
Language: Fluency in English is required.
