We are investigating the cost of achieving poverty-alleviation goals in real-world settings. We rely on survey data to run simulations. You would be helping us source, clean, and process that data.
Required Qualifications
Coding experience (ideally Python, but other languages may work)
Basic experience working with data
Background in basic statistics
Relevant major/degree in Data Science, economics, or other social science fields
Ability to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Capacity to handle multiple projects at once and effectively manage time.
Ability to manage a time-sensitive workflow, while maintaining accuracy with details
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, hard worker.
Compensation
We are open to a variety of arrangements for compensation based on your preference and situation including:
Academic Credit
Financial compensation (dependent on funding)
Start Date & Duration
Start Date: ASAP
Expected duration for a minimum of 2 months at 10 hours per week. Ability to extend contingent on work availability, funding, and mutual interest by PI and lab assistant
