We are investigating the cost of achieving poverty-alleviation goals in real-world settings. We rely on survey data to run simulations. You would be helping us source, clean, and process that data.

Required Qualifications

  • Coding experience (ideally Python, but other languages may work)

  • Basic experience working with data

  • Background in basic statistics

  • Relevant major/degree in Data Science, economics, or other social science fields

  • Ability to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Capacity to handle multiple projects at once and effectively manage time.

  • Ability to manage a time-sensitive workflow, while maintaining accuracy with details

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, hard worker.

Compensation

We are open to a variety of arrangements for compensation based on your preference and situation including:

  • Academic Credit

  • Financial compensation (dependent on funding)

Start Date & Duration

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Expected duration for a minimum of 2 months at 10 hours per week. Ability to extend contingent on work availability, funding, and mutual interest by PI and lab assistant
