In this role, you'll manage a 150-hour international AI evaluation course, overseeing student recruitment, academic coordination, and programme delivery

  • Position Type: Full-time, 10-month fixed-term position.

  • Compensation: Annual salary equivalent of $75,000-$90,000 US dollars (USD), with full benefits, based on experience and local market rates.

    • Compensation will be offered in USD or the successful candidate’s preferred currency at the market exchange rate at time of payment.

    • Candidates based outside the US will be hired through our international Employer of Record.

  • Location: Largely remote with on-site presence in Valencia, Spain required in May 2026.

About the Programme

The International Programme – AI Evaluation: Capabilities & Safety is a 150-hour hybrid-delivery course designed to address the global shortage of talent in AI evaluation and safety. The programme bridges technical and policy expertise, connects participants to leading government and industry partners, and establishes AI evaluation as a formal academic discipline. With an international scope, the programme will train 40 top students, preparing them to become leading specialists equipped to meet the urgent challenges of AI evaluation that ensures effective and safe deployment of AI.

Responsibilities

  • Student Recruitment & Selection

    • Develop and implement student recruitment strategies, including targeted outreach and advertising

    • Shortlist prospective students, conduct interviews and holistic reviews using transparent and equitable selection criteria and processes, in coordination with the academic directors

  • Academic Coordination

    • Collaborate with academic directors to establish and monitor programme milestones and deadlines

    • Foster strong working relationships with faculty, facilitating onboarding and providing continued support throughout the programme

    • Oversee the development of course syllabi and other course materials in coordination with faculty

    • Support the effective use of online learning platforms and ensure accessibility for all students

  • Communication & Outreach

    • Send and manage invitations to speakers, faculty, and partners

    • Serve as the primary liaison to stakeholders, providing timeline updates and responding to inquiries

    • Manage all communications with students throughout the programme

    • Develop and implement a marketing plan, including website and social media content

    • Engage with existing and potential sponsors and funders

  • Logistics & Operations

    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR and LOPDGDD) and implement secure practices for the collection, storage, and sharing of student data and records

    • Coordinate with ValgrAI (our local logistics partner) for visas, accommodation, catering, and programme venues

    • Coordinate with BERI (our operations partner) to ensure accurate budget tracking, expense reporting, and contract management

  • Programme Delivery

    • Be on site in Valencia, Spain for the May 2026 programme

    • Manage scheduling and coordination of all teaching activities and events

    • Coordinate with faculty, students, and partners to ensure smooth programme delivery

    • Oversee technical set-up and troubleshooting for hybrid and online learning environments

    • Monitor and resolve issues impacting programme delivery in real-time

  • Programme Quality & Development

    • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation processes to assess programme effectiveness and student outcomes

    • Document best practices and lessons learned for future programme iterations

    • Collect and integrate feedback from students, faculty, and partners to support ongoing programme improvement

    • Support planning and documentation for the second annual programme and its transition towards MSc accreditation

Experience & Skills

  • Required Experience & Skills

    • Excellent written and spoken English

    • Experience in educational programme management, preferably in higher education and/or international and multicultural contexts

    • Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills

    • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to an evolving new programme environment

    • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and applications

  • Preferred Experience & Skills

    • Second language fluency a plus

    • Experience with online learning platforms and hybrid event delivery
